Warehouse & Storage Terms
These Warehouse & Storage Terms apply to storage and related warehouse services provided by Yellow Star Logistics.
1. Storage Services
The Company may provide dry and temperature-controlled storage for approved cargo, subject to available capacity and the specific storage arrangement agreed upon with the customer.
2. Storage Capacity
Storage space is subject to availability. Advance reservations are recommended, particularly for temperature-sensitive cargo requiring cooler space.
A storage request is not confirmed until accepted by the Company.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding:
Cargo type
Quantity
Number of pallets
Weight
Dimensions
Temperature requirements
Special handling requirements
Expected arrival and departure dates
Customers must ensure that cargo is properly packaged, labeled, and suitable for warehouse storage.
4. Temperature-Controlled Storage
Temperature-controlled storage is available for approved temperature-sensitive cargo.
Customers must communicate the required storage temperature before delivery.
The Company will use reasonable operational procedures to maintain the designated storage environment; however, temperature conditions may be affected by equipment failure, power interruptions, maintenance, loading activity, weather, or other circumstances.
5. Perishable and Agricultural Products
Perishable and agricultural products may require special handling and storage procedures.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are delivered in suitable condition and within the appropriate temperature range.
The Company is not responsible for deterioration, spoilage, or loss caused by the inherent nature of perishable products, improper packaging, pre-existing conditions, customer instructions, or circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control.
6. Receiving and Release
Warehouse receiving and release are subject to operating schedules and appointment requirements.
Customers may be required to provide advance notice before cargo is delivered to or removed from the facility.
7. Storage Fees
Storage fees and related charges are determined according to the applicable quotation, rate agreement, storage agreement, or other written arrangement.
Additional charges may apply for handling, receiving, loading, unloading, palletization, special handling, or other services.
8. Unclaimed or Abandoned Cargo
If cargo remains at the facility beyond the agreed storage period or if amounts due remain unpaid, the Company may exercise any rights available under the applicable agreement and law, including rights relating to continued storage, disposition, or lien enforcement where applicable.
9. Liability
The Company's responsibility for stored goods is governed by the applicable warehouse agreement, warehouse receipt, rate agreement, or other governing document.
These website terms do not replace any applicable statutory rights, contractual limitations, or legally required obligations.
