Shipping & Logistics Terms

1. Transportation Services

The Company provides transportation and logistics services based on the shipment information provided by the customer and the specific service arrangements agreed upon between the parties.

Services may include local and regional transportation, full-truckload transportation, box-truck deliveries, agricultural pickup, airport transfers, cross-docking, transloading, and related logistics services.

2. Pickup and Delivery Appointments

Customers are encouraged to provide advance notice for pickups and deliveries.

Whenever possible, customers should provide at least one business day of advance notice. The Company may accommodate same-day or emergency requests depending on equipment, driver, facility, route, and operational availability.

A pickup or delivery appointment is not confirmed until accepted by the Company.

3. Shipment Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding cargo weight, dimensions, quantity, description, temperature requirements, handling instructions, pickup location, delivery location, and any special requirements.

Additional charges may apply when actual shipment conditions differ materially from the information provided at the time of booking.

4. Cargo Condition and Packaging

Customers are responsible for ensuring that cargo is properly packaged, secured, labeled, and prepared for transportation.

Temperature-sensitive cargo must be appropriately prepared and maintained according to its required temperature range before pickup.

5. Temperature-Sensitive Cargo

The Company may provide climate-controlled transportation and storage services when specifically arranged.

Customers are responsible for identifying required temperature ranges and special handling requirements before the shipment is accepted.

Temperature control requirements do not guarantee a particular temperature throughout the entire transportation process unless specifically agreed in writing.

6. Delays

Transportation schedules may be affected by weather, traffic, airport operations, road conditions, equipment availability, government actions, inspections, cargo readiness, loading or unloading delays, and other circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.

Estimated pickup and delivery times are not guarantees unless expressly agreed in writing.

7. Agricultural Shipments

Agricultural and perishable commodities may be subject to additional handling, documentation, temperature, packaging, and timing requirements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that agricultural cargo is legally permitted for transportation and appropriately prepared for shipment.

8. Airport Transportation

Airport pickups and deliveries may be subject to airport security procedures, terminal restrictions, traffic conditions, cargo availability, airline requirements, and other airport operating procedures.

Additional waiting, handling, parking, or accessorial charges may apply when applicable.

9. Cross-Docking and Transloading

Cross-docking and transloading services are performed according to the shipment requirements and available facility capacity.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate cargo information and any special handling instructions before the shipment arrives.

10. International and Caribbean Shipments

International, island consolidation, and Caribbean transportation services may be subject to carrier availability, customs requirements, documentation requirements, port schedules, government regulations, and other conditions outside the Company's control.

International service availability and schedules are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

11. Claims

Any claim for loss, damage, shortage, or other cargo-related issue should be reported promptly and handled in accordance with the applicable transportation agreement, bill of lading, tariff, warehouse receipt, or other governing documentation.
